Hi,  we are Mike and Michelle Coe, the Lead Pastors here at Connect Church.  We are blessed to be part of an incredible team and church community here in South Canterbury, that desires to see our district transformed with the hope and love of Jesus Christ.  We have four amazing children; Grace, Josiah, Asher, and Sophie.  As we were both raised in regional towns, God has given us a big heart for the small places, and a desire to see the church alive and flourishing in regional New Zealand.  

Mike has a passion for leadership and currently serves on the National Executive of our movement, the Assemblies of God NZ.  He enjoys casting and stirring up vision, and working (including mentoring, strategic planning, and problem solving) with movements, leaders, and pastors.

We first came to Timaru in 2007 as Associate Pastors at Timaru Assemblies of God (Connect Timaru), later becoming the Lead Pastors in 2011.  In 2014 we were voted the Pastors of Waimate Christian Centre which then became Connect Waimate, and in 2016 Connect Temuka was planted.  It is our privilege to lead Connect Church NZ.  If you are visiting or looking for a church home, we would love to host you!
